A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we have to tell you about every one we set, and ask your permission for any that aren’t needed to run the service you asked for.
Today that second part does not apply to us, because we set nothing outside the strictly necessary. There is no analytics on this site, no advertising network, no social embeds and no third-party tracking of any kind. The two cookies below are what keep you signed in and what remembers that you have seen the notice. If that ever changes, you will be asked before anything new is set — not told afterwards.

Changing your mind
Your choice is stored for 6 months and then we ask again. You can change it whenever you like — the control below reopens the notice, and it is in the footer of every page. Withdrawing permission is exactly one click, the same as giving it.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser’s own settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you being able to sign in, which is a limitation of how sign-in works rather than a choice we have made.
Payments and Stripe
Card payments are handled by Stripe. When you go to pay you leave this site for a page hosted on stripe.com, so any cookie Stripe sets is set there, on their domain, and is covered by Stripe’s own cookie policy. We do not embed Stripe’s scripts on these pages, which is why no __stripe_mid or __stripe_sid appears in the table above. We never see or store your card details.
